Orange Nails
Get the look! I used orange nail vanish from Select, Beauty UK for £1.99
White nail art stick from Concord, L.A Colours for £1.00
A nail art set from B&M for £1.00
I created these nails, a orange and white zebra stripe pattern with a small orange star sequin!
I would say the orange is thick and stands out, which is good as you can see it. Normally it takes a few coats but if you use this orange it doesn't need more than one. I was very pleased with the outcome of the nail vanish and the price! I personally think it looks beautiful and would recommend it to any one I speak to!
To do this design all you need to do is; Paint on the orange and wait until it is dry. Then you need to use the nail art stick to draw lines vertically across the nail. Add a top coat once dry! Use the nail art utensils to put the sequin on, top coat it and you are done!!!!
Why not try this look at home, you don't have to use orange and white but it's great fun and looks amazing! :)

How to make Honeycomb
Rock Of Honeycomb |
To make some perfect home made honeycomb, follow the 6 easy steps below :)
Iingredients:
4 tablespoons Golden Syrup
110g Caster Sugar
1 and a half teaspoon Bicarbonate Of Soda
First you must weigh out the sugar then put into a pan.
Add the golden syrup and stir with a wooden spoon until it's all mixed together.
Next put the pan over the heat and wait for the mixture to turn a syrup colour and start bubbling. This will take about 3 minuets!
Then you need to add the bicarbonate of soda and stir again, now add the pan back to the heat for a few seconds.
Pour the mixture into a pre-greased pan, quickly before it hardens! Let the mixture go cold (cool).
Now it's the fun bit, bash it up with a hammer or a rolling pin. Cover it first and remove from the pan! However, this is the best part of all, eat up!

Birthday Party
Check List:
3 WEEKS BEFORE
Some good places to go for party ideas and decorations/costumes:

Party Puffin; http://www.partypuffin.co.uk/
Party Pieces; http://www.partypieces.co.uk/
Party World; http://partyworlduk.net/
3 WEEKS BEFORE
- Make a budget planner, you don't have to stick to it but it's very handy.
- Make an invitation list: decide on whether it's going to be a big party or a little get together with close friends and family.
- If you fancy having a theme decide on one. Here are some examples; Candy, Pink, Football, Princess, Diamond, New York, Hawaiian, VIP guest list (Award Night), Glow in the dark, Casino, Spy, Garden, Super hero, dinosaur, Fancy dress, Bollywood, 60's, 70's, 80's, Mexican, Medieval, Wild west, rock and roll, Disco, Pirates. But if not decide on what kind of party; fancy dress, pool party, garden party, disco, carnival or a house party. Also start to think about the food and music that would go with the theme if you have one.
- Decide on the venue and book it. Most parties last for about 2-4 hours.
- You may want transport, so book that....
- Send the invitations out so people know in advance to make sure they don't have other plans. Get them to tell you A.S.A.P (as soon as possible) whether they can come.
- Start to write out what you'd want on the menu, maybe to go with the theme, a buffet or a sit down meal. The menu includes; hot food, cold food, drinks, desserts, themed food, frozen and the cake.
- Are you going to give out thank you cards or party boxes/bags afterwards?
TWO WEEKS BEFORE
- Get searching on the internet and around shops for party decorations. Buy them and stock them up in a cupboard somewhere around your house. Making sure you are thinking about where you want everything to go! It's always easiest to draw out a room plan.
- Buy all your cutlery and utensils you will need to place the food on. If you are having a buffet it's good to use plastic cutlery and paper plates/bowls as they don't cost a lot and you can throw them out.
THE WEEK OF THE PARTY
- Go out and get your party outfit.
- Buy the food and drinks.
- The morning of the party go to the venue and help set up where you want everything to go.
Then Your Ready To Party!!!!

The Struggles Of Being A Teen!!!!
Every teenager is defined by the way they dress, the way they act, what they like and who they bother with. It's all part of being a teenager. In school you always have those more popular kids who think they are 'pretty' and 'amazing' but that is according to you. Who knows what they think of themselves, they may do but how do we know. They may act like they own the world but it might be just because of confidence issues or something so simple like that. However you have those kids who like reading or are shy so don't talk to many people or maybe they just like getting good marks on tests and homework. What's so bad about that? They are classed as 'geeks' or 'freaks', but facts prove they really ain't! The truth is everyone judges others, for looks or the way they may seem. The 'Un popular kids' say "they are so horrible, I hate them!" but why? Have they actually done any thing so horrible to you it made you feel at your lowest! If so why would they have done it. You complain and make quotes about them but it's not okay if they do it to you? Really, that is low! If you do or say something to someone you should expect it back who ever you are. You may be rich but your not perfect and your certainly not the best. You may be poor but that doesn't mean your dirty and you should put up with bulling or have a bad life, you may have an amazing life! So what's the point in judging some one before you get to know them. They seem horrible but until you really dig deep how do you know? Like the saying "Never judge a book by it's cover" true. You shouldn't....
Take this into mind and think before you say! Otherwise one day it will come back and bite you on your back side, that won't be nice.

Rainy Days :(
Rainy Days :( by topteenz1 featuring a comic book
It looks like the sun has gone for Britain at the moment :( So we need to get our winter stuff back out, it's warm but rainy. This is the weather where it's hard to choose what to wear! Don't want to get wet but we don't want to be too hot :O choices, uh? Okay well here is all you need to know about looking fabulous in the rain while feeling just right and warm.
1). It's always nice to wear those skinny jeans with a thick jumper. Shoes: Boots or high tops, but don't wear open shoes or suede.
2). A summer dress with a long coat. It looks really cute and pretty! Preferably a red coat and a white dress with a yellow umbrella and yellow shoes. Shoes: Wellington or boots with a slight heel.
3). Trouser dungarees with a long sleeved stripy/spotty top and hair in a messy bun with a flower. A total cow gal look :) Shoes: Wedges or Wellington.
4). A skater skirt with a jumper. Shoes: Boots.
5). A pencil skirt with a blouse. Shoes: Small heeled sandals or Wellington.
But these are only 5 looks of thousands, millions even!!!! Just get experimenting with colours and patterns, wear something summery but to keep you warm. Try an outfit with a fluffy body warmer and geek glasses, aww cute ;) Just have a nice time getting together some summer rain outfits!!!! Go colourful. Go bright. Go simple.... Wa hey!!!!
Get ya girlies over to have a slumber party with popcorn, sweets, cakes, chocolate and fun. You can do each others make overs (blind folded), nails, hair and have a fashion show. Drink a small amount of random stuff taken from the kitchen but making sure it is edible. You could play blind man's buff, tell spooky stories, ring people up at midnight and get them angry :) good times, good times!!!! You could make models or go on the wii, play station or play truth and dares!! Also you could eat pizza and chips, chocolate fondue and candy floss while all cuddled under the blankets and quilts watching girly movies. If you get board start to
re-inact what they are doing on the films. Trust me, it'll be a really girly fun night for all of you, why not try braving it to sleep in a tent in ya back gardens or a field?!?
