Bad Mood Helps

If you are having a bad day or are just in a bad mood why not try to relax. First of all think about what may be making you have such a bad today for yourself or what has put you in such an awful mood. Second of all you should take stuff slow and just go with the flow of the day.
When your having a bad day it's always best to:

  • Forget about anything that is disturbing you.
  • Take a break.
  • Pamper yourself a little, why not book a massage at a salon?
  • Watch a soppy romantic film and eat popcorn and chocolate cuddled up all warm and cosy under your blankets.
  • If you have the day off school or work, stay in your pyjamas.
  • Try reading a book or listening to some gentle music.
  • Take a nice, long, warm bath and low the lights. But make sure it's deep! You could have a tea/coffee/hot chocolate is always best, with marshmallows, cream, chocolate and sprinkles. YUM!

  • Unfortunately for some we have to go to work or school, don't worry as there are plenty ways of still relaxing....
  • Anything that you are struggling at through the day, leave for tomorrow.
  • At break have a high energy food source.
  • At lunch have some fruit but treating yourself to some treats as well.
  • Try not to be moody to anyone and the best thing is to say that you are not in the mood today and people should hopefully understand.
  • When you get home complete the above list and enjoy your relaxation treatments at home.
Sounds like a plan!

Weekly Hair style guide :)

You need some help with finding different ways of wearing your hair?
So let's start with:
Monday
To the side and clipped so it stays nice and firm. Then curled and hair sprayed into place!
Tuesday
Let your hair fall down and touch up the curls. Then take a few strands of hair from the front and clip back with a colourful clip or bow.
Wednesday
Bun-Tastic! Is the word. Lift up the hair and wrap around a doughnut. Then place a flower headband around your head and WOW Wednesday is complete.

Thursday
Plait your hair from one side of your head to the other and keep going until you reach the end of your hair, then quickly place a small bobble.
Friday
Once again have your hair down, but this time straightened. If you like add some extensions in a different colour to your hair so it looks dip dyed. Or you can leave it plain and show everyone you can work it.
Saturday
A high ponytail, straightened and held up with a thick bobble.
Sunday
Down for town! Let it flow naturally and add a cute bow for tone and flair.

Collars OR Not?

Time for a helpathon....

I have been put shopping today and I went into New Look. I seen these really nice collars for £7.99 each! The one was denim with gems and the other was white with spikes. When I got home it tried them on with a top I was wearing.... Hum? Bad choice! It looked so stupid but I thought they might look better with a different top. So I tried all my tops on and not a single 1 looked right! :O It was just there, hanging, like a 2 year olds art work from my neck. I can't find ANY other ways of wearing them so can you please help. If you can think of what I could do with them then go ahead and comment {below}!!!! This is a total disaster and I can't take them back as I have taken the labels off.... AHH!!!! Fashion crisis....................................

Perfect Prom....

To be a centre of attention is sometimes hard, but if you be yourself it's actually quite easy! Just go ahead and be confident. But if you really want to be talk central then all you need to do is have the most beautiful dress and shoes, whether you're going to a prom, party or just a get together. Here is you shopping guide with tips for buying the PERFECT outfit to fit you.
fashion of hairdressing series of picture 2

1 - Picking the perfect dress can sometimes be hard, so here is a checklist to help:

- Do you want straps, strapless, 1 strap?
- If you want it strapless, do you want a heart shape or straight?
- A long or short dress?
- Pick 3 colours you would most like
- Block colour or pattern?

TIP*When you are choosing a dress it's always good to make sure it fits your body shape. We are all different, but don't worry if your favourite dress out of 10 shops doesn't fit properly because there are millions of shops, so get searching!*
Here are some shops:

2 - The dress is not the only vital ingredient to prom soup, now you need shoes.

- Heels or flats?
- If you want heels, how high?
- Open shoes or closed up?
- Colours?
- Block colour or patterns?

TIP*When buying your shoes make sure that the colour goes with your dress. It is always best to buy gold, silver or nude colours and sometimes the colour of the dress if you have a long dress*
You can buy shoes from any of the links above.

2 - You hair is another big thing about your prom.

- Up or down?
- Curled or Straightened?
- Bun or pinned back?
- On the side?

TIP*It's always nice to have your hair up either in a bun or pinned back when you have straps. However it is quite nice to have your hair up when you are in a strapless if you are wearing an outstanding or diamante necklace*
You can look at hair styles on the internet, even Google images is a good search.

3 - Now, accessorizing you outfit is the main idea.

Okay, So you can use:
Necklaces, Bracelets, Earrings, Rings Corsages, Tiaras, Bags.
(All of these on the links above)
bracelet

TIP*Clutch bags are always the best option and normally the same colour as your jewellery and shoes (E.c.t. Gold, Silver, White/Cream*
It all depends on what you like but instead of tiaras you could use flowers or clips. It's always nice to add some diamantes to your outfit but if you'd rather prefer it with out that is perfectly fine. As at the end of the day it's what you want and no body else wants. As long as you feel comfortable that's all that matters.

4 - Last but not least, your make-up is your last key thing to complete your fabulous look for the prom.

Are you going to go for smoky eyes? Or the more natural attempt? Are you going to have a professional stylist do it or have a family member or friend do it?

TIP*A great way of giving yourself rosy cheeks is to spread lipstick up your cheek bones then rub it in and see the magic*

Style Drive

Umm....... A few ways of creating a whole new wardrobe with your unique looks. They are so simple and are look like Brand New clothes.... "Wow, Where did you get that from?"

Old into New
If you have an old shirt which no longer fits. Don't chuck it out because here is a  FABULOUS way of making your very own stylish collar.

Step 1:
Cut off the collar on the shirt. But make sure you leave a little bit of material around the bottom.

Step 2:
Collect any jewels, sequins, buttons, badges (Anything that is you) and sew or glue it on. However if you glue it you must make sure it's super glue or fabric glue. That way you know for sure they will stay on. You could even put glue all over it then shake the glitter pot and watch your plain, old boring shirt collar into fashion heaven.

This is another style fix you could do to change your shirt into a waist coat.

Step 1:
Cut of the arms.

Step 2:
If you want add anything or change the buttons and Wa La.... You shirt is now your waist coat.....

Boring Into Excite
If you have a plain bag then you can complete this fashion look using: The bag and some paints and paint brushes.

Lay the bag down flat on some old newspaper or a mat, which is able to get mucky. Then splash blobs of paint all over the bag using the paintbrush. Any colours or styles. Then wait for it to dry completely and your plain, boring bag is reformed.

We have loads more and why don't you try and design some of your own ideas then send pictures and step by steps to us! Get Creative!!!!
